Master's Degree Program:
The master's degree program prepares students for promotion to the
doctoral program and professional careers in teaching and research. Two
years is the typical period for completing the program.
The master's degree program has the following requirements:
- Completion of 55 credits of graduate course work
- Completion of required courses as specified by the department
- Demonstrated competence in social science methodology
- Completion of a master's degree thesis
