Transfer Credits
Transferring credits to the Political Science department can be a two step process.
First, credits must be transferred to the University of Oregon through the Office of Admissions. For more information about this process, see their web page at http://admit.uoregon.edu/apply/tequiv.htm.
If necessary for departmental requirements, you may petition the department to evaluate and approve transfer credits using the Request for Political Science Transfer Credit Form.
The evaluating professor will need copies of a syllabus,
course description, reading list, and any papers or tests the student has retained. In most instances it will not be possible to
obtain all of the above information. At the very least, however, a syllabus should be submitted. The more information you are able
to present, the the greater the likelihood that you will receive subfield credit in addition to upper/lower division credit.
Remember, however, that you are not guaranteed anything.
