PS Student Wins Undergraduate Research Award

Congratulations to Political Science major Momo Wilms Crowe for receiving the UO Libraries Undergraduate Research Award!

Momo won the award for her paper: Challenges to Democratic Inclusion and Contestation of Space: Contemporary Student Activists in Transforming South Africa which she wrote during her study abroad program in South Africa.  Both professor Janine Hicks, University of KwaZulu Natal Law School, Durban, South Africa and professor Timothy Williams, Department of History wrote strong nomination letters for Momo.

UO Libraries Undergraduate Research Awards:

Reward students who demonstrate high-quality academic work and excellent library research skills.
Awards of $1,000 – $1,500 are given in the two categories:

  •  Single term papers and projects from a 300 level or above course
  •  Theses or multi-term papers and projects
